Survivors include a daughter, Carmen Thrasher, McCloud, Okla.; a grandson, Vincent Hill and wife, Lauren, Joplin, Mo.; five granddaughters, Samantha Sevart and husband, Jim, Chanute, Kan., Brittani Watson and husband, Jake, Humboldt, Kan., Kelcey Lowry, Overland Park, Kan., Kaleena Thrasher and Jaimie Thrasher, both of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and six great-grandchildren, Rhylee, Andie, Aiden, Tyler, Kaydence and Braylynn. Also surviving is a sister, Velma Beckford, Fort Scott, Kan. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Shelly Lowry; a granddaughter, Amanda Rhea Hill; and a brother, J.D. "Nick" Nichols.
Her nephew, the Rev. Bryan Keith, will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 8, at the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Richland Cemetery, Richards, Mo. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, at the Cheney Witt Chapel.
