She was born May 2, 1945, in Fort Scott, the daughter of Raymond Krull and Mary Frances Byerley Krull. Freddie was a 1963 graduate of Fort Scott High School.
She later graduated from the Mercy School of Nursing which fulfilled her ambition of achieving a higher education. Freddie's compassion and nursing skills allowed her to touch many lives.
She married Raymond Streeter on Feb. 14, 1963. They later divorced. Freddie and Ray raised six children in Pleasanton.
During this time, Freddie had many special accomplishments including serving as city councilman and Mayor. As manager of the family business, she influenced the lives of employees and customers with her uncanny wit, respect and unconditional love.
Her entire life revolved around her family, friends and caring for others.
Survivors include six children: Marnie Zimmerman and husband Randy, Fort Scott; Carmen Misse and husband Greg, Olathe, Kan.; Kim Shrum and husband Jeff, Inverness, Fla.; Ray Streeter II and wife Kimberly, Baxter Springs, Kan.; Bernard Streeter and wife Torrie, Hammond, Kan.; Cristin Stark and husband Kevin, Fort Scott. Freddie is survived by three sisters: Beverly Malone and husband Don, Fort Scott; Pat Martin and husband, Geary, Fort Scott and Betty Dennis, Uniontown, Kan. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Don Dennis.
There was cremation. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Cheney Witt Chapel. Private family burial will be at a later date.
