Gene E. Simpson, age 72, of Flemington, Mo., formerly of Shawnee, Kan., passed away April 5, 2012, at his home.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Evergreen Cemetery, debit, Mo., with Rev. Lanny Lybarger officiating under the direction of Hathaway-Peterman Funeral Home, Wheatland, Mo.

Visitation was from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, at Hathaway-Peterman Funeral Home, Wheatland, Mo.
