Kathryn Marie Keating, 94, of Fort Scott, Kan., died early Tuesday morning, April 3, 2012, at Mercy Hospital, Fort Scott.

She was born Jan. 12, 1918, in Fulton, Kan., the daughter of Loren and Pearl (Randall) Hill.

She married John F. Keating Jr. June 23, 1937, in Fulton. He preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1988.

Kathryn is survived by one sister, Dorothy Baldauf of Haven, Kan.; four grandchildren, Tawnja Weddle of Pittsburg, Kan., John Beisley, of Hume, Mo., Joe Beisley of Nevada, Mo., and Troy Biggs of Ind.; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, John, Kathryn was also preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Cheryl Biggs; a sister, Agnes Young; a grandson, Toby and a great-great-granddaughter, Cadance.

Father Darrin May will celebrate the funeral mass for Kathryn at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, at Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church with burial following at St. Michael's Cemetery in Fulton, Kan. The Rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7 p.m. at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
