Word was received here of the death of Jimmie Mac Gust Sr., 80, who was born and raised near the Corporon Hill in south Arcadia. He died March 22, in Merriam, Kan. He graduated from Pittsburg High School. His services and burial were in Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry, Kan. His parents are the late George and Rhoda Gust. He spent 50-plus years as a minister.

He is preceded in death by his brother Charles Gust and sister Rose Lenore Bowers Jodie Dunn, widow of Galen Dunn, who founded Chariot of Fire and founded a missions school in the Philippine Islands, had planned to visit the Open Door Church this month. She had to cancel her plans due to illness.
