Linda Mae Graham, 90, a resident of Fort Scott, Kan., died Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the Fort Scott Manor.

She was born March 18, 1921, in Harding, Kan., the daughter of Johnson Vann and Agnes Willard Vann.

She married Calvin Graham in 1942. He preceded her in death.

Linda had first worked in the housekeeping department at Mercy Hospital. She later retired from the Western Insurance Company after 25 years of service. She enjoyed fishing and helping others.

Survivors include four grandchildren; Keith Vann and wife, Sherri, Marsha Vann, and Lynette Vann, all of Fort Scott, and Machelle Young, Pittsburg, Kan.; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are a sister, Thelma Vann, and a brother Lawrence Vann, both of Fort Scott.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Don Vann; seven brothers and three sisters.

Elder Pete Pulliam will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time at Cheney Witt Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Linda Graham Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, P.O. Box 347, Ft. Scott, Kan. 66701.
