TRACEY ALAN HIXON
Tracey Alan Hixon, 39, a recent resident of Liberty, Mo., died unexpectedly Monday, March 12, 2012, at St. Luke's Stroke Center in Kansas City, Mo., following a stroke.
He was born the son of Rex Alan Hixon and Deborah Roxanne Rushing Hixon at Fayetteville Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville, Ark., on Nov. 27, 1972.
Tracey graduated from the Traning Center of Garden City, Mo., in the spring of 1991. He married Erin Groat on Jan. 11, 1997, in Liberty at Providence Baptist Church. He was blessed with two beautiful girls, Hayley Marie and Mikayla Grace.
Tracey's career was what he loved doing, working with computers.
Survivors include his wife Erin and two daughters, Hayley and Mikayla, of the home; his parents, Rex and Roxanne Hixon; his brother, Anthony and wife Michelle; nephews Christian and Kaiden; his maternal grandmother, Edith Marie Rushing and his paternal grandmother, Maryetta Hixon; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him and will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lyle Hixon, and several relatives on his maternal side.
His funeral will be at 11 am. Saturday, March 17 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 600 N. Liberty, Independence, Mo.
