Here, Victor Hughes rolls out one of the mats. Seven Tigers have qualified for the Class 4A State Tournament, which will take place Friday and Saturday at the Bicentennial Center in Salina. Fort Scott's qualifiers are Metcalf, 170 pounds; Tavenaro, 182 pounds; Jerad Heckman, 126 pounds; John Hughes, 152 pounds; and Regional champions Hughes, 138 pounds; Jacob Durossette, 132 pounds; and Dane Cummings, 195 pounds. KOMB Radio will broadcast from the State Tournament on Saturday. Friday's action begins at 10 a.m. while Saturday's matches will get underway at 10 a.m. (Scott Nuzum/Tribune)
