She was born May 18, 1933, in Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of Everett Wratchford and Mable Manning Wratchford.
Frances was raised on the family farm north of Hammond.
She graduated from the Fulton High School and later worked as a typist and file clerk for the Western Insurance Company which later became American States Insurance Company. She retired after 36 years of service.
She was a member of Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles Wratchford and wife Mary and Donald Wratchford and wife Bobbie, all of Fort Scott; and a sister-in-law, Fern Wratchford, also of Fort Scott.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Wratchford, and two brothers, John and Gerald Wratchford.
Father Darrin May will conduct Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at the Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
Burial will follow in the West Liberty Cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Cheney Witt Chapel, with visitation following from 6 to 7 p.m.
