RUTH S. McCALMONT

Ruth S. McCalmont, 91, Lebanon, Mo., died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at Lebanon. She was born June 30, 1920, at Krebs, Okla., the daughter of W.A. and Helen Rau Stackable.

Ruth was an air flight controller and attended the First United Methodist Church.

Ruth is survived by one sister, Kathryn Howard, Fort Smith, Ark.; a niece, Cindy Leach, Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Jason Berard and Nicole Berard; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob McCalmont, one daughter and one son.

A memorial service for Ruth will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Howard officiating.

Burial will be at a later date in the Fort Scott National Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kan.
