Linda Merlene Rodarmel, 64, Bronaugh, Mo., passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott, Kan., following a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 25, 1946, in Vernon County, Mo., to Merl D. Fellows and Louella R. Eaton Fellows.
She was married Aug. 10, 1979, in Nevada, Mo., to Ray Rodarmel, and he preceded her in death.
Linda was born and raised in Vernon County, Mo., and spent her whole life here. She worked for many years as a secretary and bookkeeper. Later she worked as a cashier at a number of Nevada businesses. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Nevada and Order of Eastern Star. She was an avid bingo player.
Survivors include one son, Mike Rodarmel, Nevada, Mo.,; two daughters, Abby Starne, Bronaugh, Mo., and Amy Henson, Columbus, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Paula Matherly, Nevada, Mo.; close friends, Sharon Webb, Walker, Mo., and Jerry Moore, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and one brother, Randy Fellows.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, Mo., with Roger Beach officiating.
