In just a few weeks, the members of Fort Scott High School's Family, Career and Community Leaders of America chapter collected more than 150 pounds of pop tabs and hundreds of food items from individuals and area businesses to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Joplin, Mo. FSHS senior and project leader Hannah Messer said she got the idea while attending a conference and decided to bring it to Fort Scott.
