On Nov. 4, Pvt. Kevin K. Raygoza successfully completed 13 weeks of training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.

His platoon took final drill with an above regimental average of 70.38. He also received rifle expert on the rifle range.

He is the son of Robert and Pamela Raygoza of Horn Lake, Miss. She formerly lived in Fort Scott.
