Amanda Widder and Charles Hoffmeyer, Fort Scott, are pleased to announce the birth of their son Charles Edward Martin Hoffmeyer on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at 1:13 p.m. at Mercy Health Center, Fort Scott, Kan. Charles weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Catheran Widder and Ronald Widder, both of Fort Scott.

Paternal grandparents are June and the late Henry Martin Hoffmeyer, Fort Scott.
