Victims suffer minor injuries in rollover crash

Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper Jason Krehbiel investigates a 3:40 p.m., Friday, wreck 14 miles east of Nevada at U.S. 54 and K Highway, where a westbound 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 16-year-old Rayleine Metcalf of Walker had veered to avoid a turning vehicle and overturned. Krehbiel said a relative took Metcalf and Walker passengers Abby Metcalf, 14, and Levi Thomas, 9, to a hospital, but 17-year-old Melissa Gooden of El Dorado Springs did not require medical attention. The Vernon County Ambulance District, El Dorado Springs Fire Department and Walker Rural Fire Rescue assisted.
