Seven members of 4-H shooting sports archery competed at the state match qualifier in Columbus, Kan., on Aug. 27. Members are (left to right, front row): Chance Fuhrman, Dylan Ruggles and Alexa Fuhrman. In order to qualify, members must be age 9 or older and score 140 points or higher. Members who qualified and will move on to the state match, which will be held in Topeka on Oct. 1, are Austin Collins, Dacey Simpson, Jezeriah Simpson and Kalen Simpson, according to a news release from Southwind Extension District -- Fort Scott.
