Ashley and Toby Shaughnessy, Iola, Kan., are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter Kennady Jacquelyn Shaughnessy on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at 1:57 p.m. at Mercy Health Center, Fort Scott, Kan.

Kennady weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are April Thomas, Iola, and Cliff Thomas, Macy, Neb.

Paternal grandparents are Josie and Robert Shaughnessy, Iola.
