He was born Oct. 17, 1941, in Fort Scott, Kan., to the late Joseph Donald and Shirley Casebier Miller.
Mr. Miller was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during Vietnam. He graduated from the University of Kansas in 1963 with a degree in journalism, where he was also a member of Phi Delta Theta.
Cherishing his memory are his wife of 41 years, Joanne Lauterbach Miller; three sons, Derek Miller (Kathryn) of Bentonville, Ark., Jason Miller of Little Rock, Ark., and Aaron Miller (Elizabeth) of Long Beach, Calif.; two grandchildren, Ashlyn and Aubrey; one brother, James M. Miller; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 12, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, (501) 835-3515.
