Kristen and Drew Williams, Rio Rancho, N.M., are pleased to announce the birth of their son Silas Royal Williams on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 1:01 a.m. at Presbyterian Hospital, Albuquerque, N.M. Silas weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 21.1 inches in length.

Maternal grandparents are Marla and Terry Koester, Fort Scott. Paternal grandparents are Barbara and Steve Williams, Albuquerque.

Maternal great-grandmothers are Esther Stanbrough, Mound City, Kan., and Arlene Koester, Fort Scott. Paternal great-grandmothers are Marion Gudgel, Beaverton, Ore., and Katie Sherwood-Williams, Sarasota, Fla.
