Ty Michael Shelton

Scott and Ashley Shelton of Fort Scott, Kan., are proud to announce the birth of their son, Ty Michael Shelton.

Ty was born at 10:45 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at Mercy Health Center, Fort Scott, Kan. Ty weighed 7 pounds, 11 and 1/2 ounces at birth.

Maternal grandparents are Ron and Debbie McCormick, Yates Center, Kan. Maternal great-grandparents are Roger and Martha Holt, Independence, Kan., and Virgie McCormick, Yates Center. Paternal grandparents are Sue Shelton and the late Dennis Shelton, Redfield, Kan. Paternal great-grandparents are Mayetta Hixon, Redfield, and Mildred Shelton, Fort Scott.
