STANLEY A. COMBS

Stanley A. Combs, 78, retired Cessna Avionics design engineer, passed away Friday, June 24, 2011.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth (Alcorn) Combs. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ida Lou (Harris) Combs; daughter, Dian Combs of Fort Scott, Kan.; son, Thomas Combs of Berne, N.Y.; sister, Helen Combs of Independence, Kan.; and honorary grandchildren, Emma, Mitchell and Blake Huennekens.

Visitation is 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater, Kan. Memorial Services are at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at West Heights United Methodist Church, Wichita, Kan. Graveside services are at 4 p.m. at the Moran Cemetery, Moran, Kan. Memorials may be sent to American Red Cross Disaster Services, 1900 E. Douglas, Wichita, Kan., 67214.
