Lisa Annette Turner, 47, of Fort Scott, died Saturday evening, June 11, 2011, at her home.

She was born June 25, 1963, in Anderson, Ind., the daughter of William Eugene and Inal Cleota Burgess Turner. She and her brothers and sister grew up on the family farm near Fairmount, Ind.

She was a member of the Church of Christ, 1415 S. Crawford Street. She worked at Mercy Health Center as a registration clerk for the last three years.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Inal Turner, of Fairmount, Ind., two brothers, Greg Turner and his wife Emily of Fort Scott and David Turner of Fairmount, Ind., a sister, Marla Turner of Pinedale, Wyo., five nieces, Greta Turner-Adams of Fort Scott, Olivia Butler and her husband, Steven of Overland Park, Kan., Heather Turner of Tulsa, Okla., Emigene Brown and her husband Ryan of Fort Scott and Tiffany Cothern and her husband Eric of Pinedale, Wyo., as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Turner.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Mercy Health Center Foundation Cancer Center Expansion and may be sent to or left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall St., P.O. Box 309, Fort Scott, Kan., 66701.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 17, at the Armes-Hunt Funeral Home in Fairmount, Ind.
