Inez Bowin Dugger, 88, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at a hospital in Topeka, Kan.
She was born on March 9, 1923, in Arcadia, Kan., the daughter of Lester and Lena Scratcher Totman.
Inez had grown up in Arcadia, where she graduated from high school. She had lived in Osage City, Kan., since 1954.
She had been a cook in several restaurants in Osage City.
She was a member of the Lyndon Assembly of God Church and the Osage City American Legion Auxiliary. She helped start Meals on Wheels in Osage City and was a nursing home and senior center volunteer.
Inez married Charles Bowin on Sept. 20, 1942. Charles preceded her in death in 1988.
She married Frances Dugger in 1990. Frances preceded her in death in 1997.
Inez is survived by her two daughters, Charlene Per-singer and Zona McKinsey, both of Osage City; five grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Inez will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, at the Lyndon Assembly of God.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Burial will be in the Osage City Cemetery.
