YATES CENTER -- Chelsea Beckman, Shelby Krull and Austin Coleman as well as a girls' relay team won Regional titles here Friday at the Yates Center Class 2A Regional Meet.

They are among eight Jayhawk-Linn athletes who have earned trips to this weekend's Class 2A State Championships as a result of placing in the top four at the Regional. The top six finishers earned medals.

Beckman and Krull, both seniors, were also on the relay team, the 4x100, that will be going to State. They teamed up with junior Emma Hargrove and freshman Sydney Daniels to take that race in 53.60 seconds. Beckman has been on a State-qualifying relay team all four years of high school.
