KEVIN PATRICK GALVIN

Kevin Patrick Galvin, 53, resident of 1019 S. National, Fort Scott, died on his 53rd birthday, Monday, May 9, 2011, at the Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Mo. Kevin was born May 9, 1958, in Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Robert Eugene and Dorothy Elizabeth Tracy Galvin. He graduated from the Fort Scott High School in 1976.

Kevin is survived by two brothers, Michael E. Galvin and wife Sherri, Des Moines, Iowa, and Tracy Galvin and wife Donna, Fort Scott, and one sister, Janis L. Jackson and husband Kent, Waterloo, Iola. Also surviving is one niece, Carrie Lee Flanagan, and one nephew, Garrett Royston, both of Topeka, Kan., as well as his faithful dog, Geisha.

Following cremation, Pastor Tim Davish will conduct graveside services for Kevin Galvin at 2 p.m. Friday, May 20, at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Scott.
