Commission reorganizes; Hedges moves on; Adams tapped as mayor

In his farewell speech Tuesday evening, Former Fort Scott Mayor Dick Hedges cited remarks at Former U.S. President Richard Nixon's funeral which referenced a quote from the Italian poet and politician Marcus Tullius Cicero. Hedges paraphrased the quote saying that sometimes you cannot tell the value of a day until it over. Tuesday night, Hedges' 14 years of service to the city of came to an end.
