Local students awarded scholarships

Several local students have received Alumni Legacy License Plate scholarships from Pittsburg State University for the 2010-2011 academic semester.

They include: Erica L. Davis, a first-semester junior majoring in nursing. She attended Fort Scott High School and Kansas State University. She is the daughter of Tom and Cindy Davis of Fort Scott.

Clayton Dierksen, a freshman from Mound City, who attended Jayhawk-Linn High School. He is the son of Rhonda and Rob Kellstadt and Todd and Ginger Dierksen of Mound City.

Austin Bailey, a senior majoring in engineering. He attended Fort Scott High School and is the son of David and Brenda Bailey of Fort Scott.

Kaitlin Bristley, majoring in business, attended Fort Scott High School. He is the son of Michael and Carol Bristley of Fort Scott.
