She was born April 16, 1935, in Seminole, Oklahoma, the daughter of Elmer Sill and Pearl Gibbs Sill.
She was a loving mother to five children, 14 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Betty put her trust in God and raised her children in church.
She also took her grandchildren and great grandchildren to Sunday School.
She spent her life giving to family and those around her. She will be greatly missed.
There was cremation. Rev. Trina Cooper will conduct a memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, at the Historical Congregation Church, 502 S. National, Fort Scott.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main.
