PHILIP "TOM" BARBIERI

Philip Tom Barbieri "Tom", 67, born on July 10, 1943, in Arma, Kan., to Philip Barbieri and Mary Fernetti Barbiei, passed away in Brandon, Fla., on Dec. 26, 2010.

Tom served his country as a young man in the United States Air Force in Vietnam.

He later received a B.S. in Business Administration from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kan.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, newphew John David Barbieri and brother-in-law Jerry James.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Brenda (Saia); daughters Kyra Murphy (Michael) and Krysan Davis (Corey); son, Kyle (Amanda); brother-in-law Tom Saia; sister-in-laws, Barbara James and Kathy Perkins (Ron); seven grandchildren, Jaedyn, Kylan, Jackson, Kendall, Mason, Karys and Makenna and six nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 at Stowers Funeral Home in Brandon, Fla., and a funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at Nativity Catholic Church.
