Fort Scott Community College maintenance worker Bill Lalman works on the remains of a backboard Saturday afternoon at Arnold Arena. The backboard was shattered by a Johnson County men's player during warm-ups at halftime of the women's game. Because of the time needed to replace the backboard, the remainder of the women's game and the men's game were postponed. They have been tentatively rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Fort Scott Community College's home Jayhawk Conference doubleheader with Johnson County at Arnold Arena was postponed at halftime Saturday afternoon after a Johnson County men's player shattered one of the backboards. The player was dunking during warm-ups between the halves of the women's game.

The women's game, which Johnson County is leading 24-13, is tentatively scheduled to resume Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. The men's game will follow.

KSEK-FM radio was broadcasting the game as part of its package of FSCC games. However, the station will not be able to broadcast Sunday due to its commitment to broadcast National Football League games on it's FM frequency and the Citizens Bank Bowl on its AM frequency.
