Taste of Fort Scott

Attendees of the Sixth Annual Taste of Fort Scott fundraiser browse the sweet treats provided by Cakes and More, a local business operated by Lea Kay Karleskint (second from right). Fifteen local restaurants and caterers provided food specialties for sampling and a beverage distributor was available to provide a variety of unique beverages and liquors. The event, sponsored by the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce, also included a live and silent auction of several donated items. Organizers said nearly 200 tickets for the event were sold.
