Youth enjoy fellowship Aug. 29

The annual Duncan/Allen trail ride on horseback has made a turn around. It is still held over Labor Day weekend, but the horses have been replaced with motorcycles.

Gathering at the home of Norma Page were: Dr's. Phillip and Marilyn Hoyt, Walker, La.; Tim and Gail Daly, Peculiar, Mo.; Rad Daly and his fiance, Weatherford, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Smith, Adrian, Mo.; Stevie and Jamie Smith, Cody, Wyo.; Connie Duncan, Travis, Jared and Guss Devon, Sean and Tana Forgey, Gabe and Sammy, Independence, Mo.; Bill Eshelbrenner, Kathy and Dick Alien, Mr. and Mrs. Lucas Allen Lafe and Laramie.

Debbie Gentry, Leroy White, Oak Grove, Mo., were weekend guests at the home of Debbie's parents, Joe and Shirley White. Joining them at Chicken Mary's Saturday night were Susan White, Ron McBride, and David Goff.

Wayne and Marge Stringer joined others of the Old Porter's Campers Club at Farlington Lake over the weekend.

The youth of the Grace Baptist Tabernacle enjoyed a fellowship after church, Aug. 29. Everyone enjoyed nachos with all the trimmings, brownies, cookies, candy and pop. Those who had not seen their new house were given a tour.

They enjoyed playing games after eating. Sponsors joining them were Mark and Kayla Ledford, Ron and Linda Center.

Saturday, Sept. 11, Joe and Shirley White visited with Bob and Linda McBride at Farlington Lake.

Ron and Linda enjoyed spending Aug. 30 and 31, at Silver Dollar City in Branson. They enjoyed the Southern Gospel Picnic and several shows while there.

Friday morning, Sept. 17, Shirley White traveled to Mound City and joined the Prescott Ladies for a game of Bunco (a dice game) and good food.

Ron and Linda Center hosted a family birthday dinner for their daughter-in-law, Kacy, Sunday, Sept. 12. Joining them were, June Hereford, Scott, James, and Ronette Center.

Dr's. Phillip and Marilyn Hoyt visited over Labor Day with their mothers, Virginia Vamer, Fulton, and Norma Hoyt.

Joe and Shirley White enjoyed the Labor Day parade in Uniontown, Labor Day.

Pat and Mike Worford, Springfield visited her mother, Buena Karieskint, Saturday, Sept. 18.

Tuesday, Sept. 14, Norma Hoyt and Bill Eshelbrenner visited with Joe and Shirley White.

Ron and Linda Center treated their daughter, Ronette, to dinner out on her birthday, Friday evening, Sept. 17. On Sunday they hosted a family dinner in her honor. Joining them were, June Hereford, Scott, Kacy, James and Lindsey Center, Kelsie Jo Collins, and Kellie Johnson.

Joe and Shirley White enjoyed joining other family members, Sunday, Sept. 19, for the Adams, Wutke, and Rouff annual family reunion held at Gunn Park.
