Mary Elizabeth Sharp, 90, Pratt, Kan., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 17, 2010, at South Wind Hospice Home in Pratt. She was born July 2, 1920, near Hiattville, Kan., to Ray and Lena Allison.

Survivors include her two daughters; Marilyn (Vic) Hook, Wilson, Kan., and Carolyn (Galen) Banks, Pratt, Kan. Mary was blessed with four grandchildren; Chad (Julie) Banks, Dodge City, Kan., Kristi (Joe) DiVetro, Wilson, Kan., Kyle (Gretchen) Banks, Pratt, Kan., and Gala (Joe) Smysor, Kansas City, Kan. She also had three great-grandchildren; Kennedy DiVetro, Wilson, Kan., Kyler Banks, Pratt, Kan., and Boyd Banks, Dodge City, and two step great-grandchildren; Brandon and Hanna Baird, Pratt, Kan. Surviving brothers are Clarence (Lula Mae) Allison, Belle Plain, Kan.; Raymond (Delores) Allison, Paisley, Fla., and a sister Margaret (Joe) Titus, Fort Scott, Kan.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Danny Sharp; her parents; and brothers Chester and Frank Allison; and a sister Thelma Kendrick.

She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Pratt and a former member of Grace Baptist Tabernacle, Fort Scott, Kan.

Casket will remain closed. Graveside service will be Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m., at Hiattville Cemetery, Hiattville, Kan., conducted by her grandson, the Rev. Joe DiVetro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Wind Hospice, Pratt, Kan., American Diabetic Association, or donor's choice c/o Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
