Eunice L. Russell, age 95, a resident of rural Redfield, Kan., died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at her home.

She was born Oct. 17, 1914, in Rich Hill, Mo., the daughter of Ulysses Simpson Grant Stine and Leona King Stine.

Eunice graduated from Uniontown High School in 1933.

She married Don Russell on Jan. 14, 1949, at Fort Scott. He preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 2007.

Eunice was a member of the Grace Baptist Tabernacle and had served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.

Survivors include three sons, James Stine and wife, Ila, Moran, Kan.; J. D. Russell and wife, Beverly and Curtis Russell and wife, Amber, all of Redfield, Kan.; and a daughter Janice Russell, Olathe, Kan.

Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Beth Ann Manyo, a brother, Kenneth Stine and three sisters, Audrey Stine, Bernice Russell, and Helen Weick.

Rev. Paul Rooks and Rev. Marty DeWitt will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at the Grace Baptist Tabernacle.

Burial will follow in the Centerville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Cheney Witt Chapel.
