BURKS -- Kevin L. and Janet Y. Burks, Fort Scott; are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Kristine Claire Burks.

Kristine was born at 7:58 p.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott.

She weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces at birth.

Maternal grandparents are Margarita and Edwardo Cubillas, Butuan City, Philippines.

Paternal grandparents are Dexter and Shirley Burks, Farlington.
