SCHREINER -- Samatha and Patrick Schreiner, Fort Scott, are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Alexa Maria Elizabeth Schreiner.

Alexa was born at 9:29 a.m., Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott.

She weighed 6 pounds, 13.5 ounces at birth.

Maternal grandparents are Lori Blankenship, Fort Scott; and David Shockey, Lansing.

Maternal great-grandparents are Kregg and Mary Blankenship, Fort Scott; Regina Swisher, Fort Scott; and Carol and John Teter, Sugar Creek.

Paternal grandparents are Nichole and Larry Mead, Prairie Village; and Robert Steven Genna, Wisconsin.

Paternal great-grandparents are Hans and Sigrid Weithoener, Germany.
