Bryce Meanor led 19 members in the flag salute at the May meeting of the Uniontown 4-H Club. Members answered roll call by telling their "favorite color." Caitlin Jackson read the minutes of the April meeting. Amber Bartlett gave the Treasures report and Cole George the reporters report. Craft leader Caitlin Jackson told members she would start craft meetings soon. Drew George announced there would be a County-Wide rabbit meeting on Sunday, May 16 at the 4-H building in Fort Scott.

In new business, it was discussed to have members pay for their pies to be served in the fair concession stand and for the members meals at the Friends of 4-H Dinner. The Club Tour to be held during the fair was discussed and a time will be decided on at the June meeting. The members voted to have a Educational exchange trip to Redbud Farms Greenhouse and invite other clubs.

Everyone enjoyed seeing and hearing about a litter of baby rabbits in a talk on "Raising Rabbits" given by Drew George.

Recreation was led by Jana Wilkinson. Members were reminded that the June meeting would start at 8 p.m. and that fair entrees are due in the extension office June 15.
