Patricia Nadine Smith, age 71, a resident of Pittsburg, Kan., died Monday, June 14, 2010, at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kan.
She was born Dec. 23, 1938, in Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of Harold Devon Smith and Lucy Lee Partridge Smith.
Pat first married George Thompson in 1956. They were divorced.
She later married George Decker; they were also divorced.
Pat had worked as a waitress at both Greer's Café and the Courtland Hotel.
She later did custodial work for the National Guard Armory.
Pat moved from Fort Scott to Pittsburg in 1995.
She was a child of the Heavenly Father.
While in Fort Scott, she was a member of the Grace Baptist Tabernacle and in Pittsburg she faithfully attended the Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Terri Lynn Allison and husband, Mike, Springfield, Mo.; two sisters, Della Dietrich and husband, Joe, Kincaid, Kan.; and Sharon Dawson, Shawnee Mission, Kan.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Beverly Bosley.
Pastor Sandy Stallings will conduct graveside services at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010, at the Mapleton Cemetery.
Family and friends may meet on Saturday at the Cheney Witt Chapel prior to leaving for the cemetery at 10 a.m.
