He was born Aug. 20, 1946, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Stafford Clark and Viola Grey McPherson.
He married Wanda Olson in June of 1982 in Shawnee, Kan.
Thomas was retired because of health as an over the road truck driver.
He attended Cherry Grove Baptist Church.
His hobbies included camping and boating.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda, of the home; two sons, Tommy Fenwick and Jeff Fenwick, both of Texas; three daughters, Jessica Mazur and husband Bradley, Fort Scott; Michelle Hodges-Callahan, Crane, Mo.; and Tonya Fenwick, Texas.
Also surviving are two sisters, Phyllis Sharp, Excelsior Springs, Mo.; and Frances Snow, Independence, Mo.; and seven grandchildren including Katelyn Greer of the home.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Viola Damos and a sister Barbara Cardey.
Pastor Carl Olson and Rev. Dale Cummins will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday in the Cheney Witt Chapel.
Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
