Cathy Jean Pettey, age 48, of Fort Scott, Kan., died Sunday April 25, 2010 at the Freeman Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.

Memorial prayer service will be held 6 p.m., Thursday April 29, 2010 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Hume, Mo.

Visitation will follow until 8 p.m.

The family suggests contributions to the Cathy Pettey Memorial Fund.
