Audrey Rosebrough, age 82, former resident of Fort Scott and more recently of Topeka, Kan., died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at the St. Francis Health Center in Topeka.
She was born Dec. 8, 1926, in Aurora, Mo., the daughter of William George Emlet and Blanche Gillespie Emlet.
Audrey was a graduate of Mt. Vernon, Mo., High School.
She married Harold Rosebrough on Nov. 10, 1946, at Mt. Vernon. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2007.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons: Steve Rosebrough and wife Robin, Atlanta, Georgia; and David Rosebrough and wife Lori, Overland Park, Kan.; two daughters: Sandra Brink and husband Don, Topeka, Kan.; and Linda Shores and husband Rick, Texarkana, Texas.
Also surviving is a sister: Hazel Cowan, Fairplay, Mo.; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Harold, she was preceded in death by a sister, Grethel Bolin.
Pastor Tim Davish will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m., Friday in the First Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in U. S. National Cemetery under the direction of Cheney Witt Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until service time at the church.
