GOODISON -- Grant and Tarrah Goodison, Mound City, are proud to announce the birth of their son, Layne Carter Goodison.

Layne was born at 9:23 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Menorah Hospital in Overland Park.

He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces at birth.

Maternal grandparents are Todd and Kenda Schmidt, Fort Scott.

Maternal great-grandparents are Virgina Smith, Derby, and Ruth and Jarold Schmidt, Larned.

Paternal grandparents are Ward and Margaret Goodison, Mound City.

Paternal great-grandparent is Bill Shinkle, Mound City.
