Gladys Marie Baker

Gladys Marie Baker, 86, of Fort Scott, died Wednesday evening March 11, 2010 at the Fort Scott Manor. She was born Nov. 11, 1923, in Hiattville, Kan., the daughter of Grover William and Blanche (Freedman) Baker.

She is survived by several cousins, and her extended family; Carol Reeder of Redfield, Kan., and the staff at Fort Scott Manor. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Lloyd R. Baker.

Graveside services for Gladys will be 10 a.m., Monday, March 15, at the Hiattville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall Street, P.O. Box 309, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
