OWEN -- Heather Holloway and Lucas Owen, Mound City, are proud to announce the birth of their son, Daimon Zaine Owen.

Daimon was born at 2:50 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott.

He weighed 7 pounds, 6 1/2 ounces at birth.

Maternal grandparents are Rhonda and Franklin Rookstool, Pleasanton.

Maternal great-grandparents are Janet and Richard Wright, Pleasanton.

Paternal grandparents are Denise and Ed Owen, Mound City.

Paternal great-grandfather is Clyde Wiehe, Wyandotte.
