Hutchinson men roll by 'Hounds

HUTCHINSON -- Hutchinson's men defeated Fort Scott Community College, 76-47, here Tuesday night in the first-round of the Region VI Division I Tournament.

Fort Scott's season ended with a 4-27 record after a 3-4 start. Hutchinson (26-5) will advance to a quarterfinal game against Garden City in Wichita Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Ramell Taylor led the Greyhounds with 24 points and 7 rebounds in his final game at FSCC. He made 11 of 16 shots from the field. But no other player scored more than 5 points for the 'Hounds.

Joe Mitchell finished with 21 points for Hutchinson while Dylan Frantz added 13.
