She was born Oct. 13, 1945, in Fort Scott, the daughter of Alvin and Elizabeth Taiclet.
She married Larry Guss on March 26, 1965, in Fort Scott.
Donna worked for Mercy Hospital for 25 years.
She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and visiting the casinos.
In addition to her other interests, she belonged to a crafting club which included making different items needed by the troops overseas.
She was a member of the West Park Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband, Larry, of the home; one son, Tommy Guss and wife Marie, Fort Scott; and one daughter, Deborah Hamilton and husband Tom, Oskaloosa, Kan.
Also surviving is her mother, Elizabeth Taiclet; two brothers, Jerry Taiclet, Girard, Kan., and Teddy Taiclet, Plano, Texas; and three grandchildren, Kurtis and Meghan Guss, and Bradley Cornell.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services for Donna Guss will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 4, in the Cheney Witt Chapel.
Burial will follow in the West Liberty Cemetery, Fort Scott.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday evening in the Cheney Witt Chapel.
