Ted Thomas, 77, of Schell City, former Vernon County Sheriff, died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at Ellett Memorial Hospital, in Appleton, City.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 23, at First Baptist Church, in Schell City, with Doug Reynolds officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 22, at the Lewis Hoagland Funeral Home, in Schell City, with Masonic services to be held at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Green Lawn Cemetery, in Schell City. Friends may call after 1 p.m., on Monday, at the Lewis Hoagland Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Schell City Volunteer Fire Department or the Schell City Community Building in care of the funeral home.
