City crews backfill a trench dug along National Avenue to install a new 12-inch waterline. According to Fort Scott Public Works Director Eric Bailey, the project which began Tuesday, is moving along well. He said the crews are getting into the flow of the project and he hopes to have the new line in place from the intersection of Second Street and National to the intersection of First and National by the end of Thursday.
