The Greyhounds played well early, leading 15-9 after eight minutes as Jacob Gougler hit back-to-back 3-point shots.
But Cowley (13-3 East, 19-9 overall) went on a 15-0 run in which Tyrus McGee scored the last 11, hitting 3 3-point shots along the way, to take control.
The 'Hounds (0-16, 3-25) only scored 4 points the remainder of the half and trailed 37-19 at the break. The Tigers grew the lead to as large as 61-29 in the second half.
Fort Scott -- which has lost 21 straight games --scored 11 of the game's final 13 points to get the deficit under 20 points.
Unofficial totals had Ramell Taylor scoring 17 points and Alex Barner posting all 17 of his points in the second half as he hit 4 3-point shots. McGee and Canon Fields each scored 17 points for Cowley.
