Greyhound men drop 15th consecutive game

CHANUTE -- Fort Scott Community College's men dropped their 15th straight game here Monday night as Neosho County took a 77-58 decision in Jayhawk Conference-Eastern Division play.

Ramell Taylor led Fort Scott (0-10 East, 3-19 overall) with 16 points while Alex Barner added 12. Antoine Lundy paced Neosho County (8-2, 16-6) with 20 points. Antonio Bostic and Justin Fairman each had 14.

Taylor also had 8 rebounds for the Greyhounds, who were outrebounded, 45-29. The Panthers had 29 defensive rebounds.

Fort Scott's women won their second straight game, beating Neosho County, 70-65, to improve to 3-6, 11-10. Neosho County fell to 3-7, 8-14. No statistics were available at press time.

Both Greyhound teams will host Coffeyville tonight at Arnold Arena. The women's game tips off at 5:30 p.m. with the men's to follow at 7:30.
